My name is Jonjo and I am 10 years old. In February 2009 my Nanny Lyn died of bowel cancer - she was only 60 years old.
Sometimes when bad things happen it helps to do something good so in February 2011 I walked 23 miles in 3 days for The Bobby Moore Fund. I walked in memory of my Nanny and Bobby Moore, Bobby died from bowel cancer too. I started at Wembley where Bobby played for England and I finished at West Ham United where he also played. I finished on the centre circle at Upton Park in front of 35,000 supporters when West Ham played Liverpool. In February 2012 I did it again but had hundreds of people walk with me, some had travelled from around the world to join in because they had head about me.
I have been very busy fundraising and I have had lots of fun. I am doing my walk every year now and I have been lucky to have had lots of support from people wanting to help and to walk with me. This website will tell you all about me, my fundraising and my amazing walk.
